Who we are

Kaaryam is operated by Dheya Career Mentors (India) Pvt. Ltd. (“Dheya”, “we”, “us”), the data controller for personal information processed through the Kaaryam website and mobile application. The career and psychometric assessments offered on Kaaryam are powered by Dheya.

Information we collect

Contact & identity: mobile number (used for one-time-password sign-in), name, and the role you sign in as.
Location: your city/district and, where you allow it, approximate device location — used for hyperlocal job matching.
Assessment responses: answers to the Dheya-powered assessments and the resulting work-nature profile.
Verification documents: where you or an employer submit documents/photos for verification.
Usage & device data: log data, device type and app interactions, to keep the service reliable and secure.

How we use your information

To authenticate you and secure your account.
To match candidates and employers, and to surface roles suited to your assessed work-nature profile — never your raw scores.
To send you service notifications (e.g. offers, interviews).
To verify listings and prevent fraud or misuse.
To operate, maintain and improve the platform.

Service providers we share data with

We share the minimum data needed with processors who help us run the service: SMS delivery (MSG91), payments (Razorpay), cloud hosting and database (Vercel, Neon), and AI features for matching explanations. We do not sell your personal information.

Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may withdraw consent for optional processing (such as device location). Contact us using the details below to exercise these rights.

Children

Kaaryam is intended for users of legal working age. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone below that age.
